In the heart of Buenos Aires, in 2018, MOSTRA CINE was born, a production company driven by the passion and commitment of its founders: Valeria Bistagnino and Tomás Eloy Muñoz. Since its launch, this team has had a clear mission: to use cinema as a powerful tool for social impact, amplifying voices that are often silenced.
At MOSTRA CINE, we meticulously select each story to be told to address relevant and poignant issues.
Our commitment goes beyond the screens; it extends to the relationships we forge with the communities we engage. We work as a team, promoting an environment where collaboration and respect are paramount. For us, film is not only a means of expression, but an avenue for empowerment. Through our films, series and documentaries, we seek not only to entertain, but also to inspire and transform consciences.
Among our latest productions are “The Freshly Cut” by Celina Murga with executive production by Martin Scorsese and winner of the best screenplay award at the Tribeca Film Festival; and “The Woman in the Queue” by Benjamín Ávila produced in association with Netflix.
